Welcome to Redwood Class (Year 2).  In Redwood Class I (Mrs Whiting) am joined by Mrs Whitby. During Forest School, we will also be joined by Mr Scarisbrick who teaches us at forest School. 

In our class we encourage all the children to celebrate their individuality and be proud of who they are. We strive to try our best every day in all the learning we undertake. Our mission is to encourage the children's independence in thinking, learning and self-care and nurture their learning journey.  

As developing readers we promote the exploration of books and love of reading and reward those that read regularly at home with their parents/carers through the class dojo system. Books are a way to open your child's eyes to the knowledge of the world as well as exploring adventures and their own creativity. Please join us in nurturing their love of books and reading is a passion close to my heart.
